From June 2 to July 20, Toronto will play host to a wide range of events, showcases, and community gatherings that celebrate games and the people who make them. Interactive Ontario is proud to be part of Toronto Games Week and Video Game Month. From the return of our Indie Superboost Marketing & Discoverability Bootcamp, to the brand new Giant Video Games, XP Game Summit 2025, The GRID playtesting event, Pixel Power Play showcase, Xsolla Connect, VRTO, and more, IO will be at the heart of the action. We are helping to spotlight Ontario studios and support their growth, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the festivities!
Giant Video Games

Location: Canada Malting Silos, Toronto

We’re kicking off Toronto Video Game Month with something big. Giant Video Games is an outdoor event where local games will be projected onto the side of the Malting Silos down at the waterfront, including projects from Drinkbox Studios, Hilltop Studios, and several other accomplished indie teams. There’ll also be an arcade area with games to demo, interactive installations, and lots of familiar faces from the community. We’re proud to partner with the City of Toronto, OCADU, and Toronto Games Week on this one, and we can’t wait to see you there.
XP Game Summit 2025

IO returns to XP Game Summit with our curated Indie Superboost (ISB) Track, featuring over 15 talks hand-selected to help indie studios grow their business, visibility, and market reach. Programming covers topics from marketing and production to platform strategy and business development.

La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec, our CIAIC colleagues, are helping lead a national Steam sale celebrating Canadian-made games. Organized in partnership with Breaking Walls Studio, the Canada Games Steam Sale launches July 1 and aims to spotlight titles from across the country. IO encourages all eligible studios to participate and help showcase Ontario’s game development talent on the world’s biggest PC platform.
