Interactive Ontario has organized an extended trade mission in partnership with PROCOLOMBIA for Colombian creative digital media companies to offer them the chance to embed themselves in the Greater Toronto Area’s IDM industry for up to three months between October to December this year.

The mission, dubbed ‘Colombia to Ontario’ will offer hosted companies a wide range of B2B activities and networking opportunities for Colombian companies which have been designed to accelerate their company’s growth and to build mutually beneficial partnerships for both Ontario and Colombia.

As part of this collaboration, participating IDM companies from Colombia will be invited to attend a range of facilitated networking sessions, tailored workshops, speaking and panel opportunities, and industry specific events taking place in Toronto during this time (events such as iVentures and TIFF).

“We believe that trade missions like these are excellent opportunities to boost not only the profile of our own interactive digital media economy in Ontario, but to also help foster international partnerships that will prove beneficial for the entire industry on a global scale,” says Christa Dickenson, CEO and President of Interactive Ontario.

Both organizations are excited to announce this partnership as PROCOLOMBIA’s mission as a government agency to promote Colombian exports, international tourism and foreign investment aligns with Interactive Ontario’s mission to represent the IDM industry across Ontario and abroad.
