(September 19, 2024 – Toronto, Ontario) – Interactive Ontario announced today the appointment of a new member and the re-election of nine others to its Board of Directors, effective September 18, 2024.

Interactive Ontario is pleased to announce the election of Zina Rahman, CEO and Co-founder of Transitional Forms, to its Board of Directors. Alongside Zina’s appointment, nine distinguished members were re-elected for another two-year term: Jamie Barron, CPA and Partner at BDO Canada, who will continue as Board Director and Treasurer; George Geczy, Founder and Technical Lead at BattleGoat Studios; Mark Laframboise, Co-founder and President of Lightning Rod Games; Jim Lamoureux, Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs at Electronic Arts; Julien Lavoie, Director of Corporate Affairs at Ubisoft; Mojdeh Gharbi, Co-Owner and Vice President of Marketing and Operations at Certain Affinity; Ramona Pringle, Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s RTA School of Media and Director of The Creative Innovation Studio; Mary Sorrenti, Vice President of Game Pill; and Jean-Sylvain Sormany, Studio Head of Snowed In Studios Inc.
