Interactive Ontario is pleased to announce that longtime board member Jeffrey Elliott has been elected to the position of Chair. Elliott assumes the role from outgoing Chair Peter Miller.

Jeffrey Elliott is the CEO of TableRock Media, a new direct-to-consumer entertainment company that will soon launch internet-based specialty channels through Apple and Android devices, set-top boxes, video game consoles and other platforms. Prior to starting TableRock Media, he was the Founder and CEO of GlassBOX Television. Jeffrey has over twenty-five years of strategic and creative experience in broadcasting, production, and new media, including the Emmy-winning Bite TV, the world’s first interactive and multiplatform television channel. Elliott received the Digital Media Trailblazing Award at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards.

“Jeffrey Elliott is a visionary in the field of interactive digital media,” said Interactive Ontario Executive Director Christa Dickenson. “Interactive Ontario has benefitted from his contributions as a member of our board for the past eight years and we now look forward to having him guide the organization as Chair.”

“I am thrilled to take on this expanded role at Interactive Ontario and eager to push forward on our agenda of supporting the growth of Ontario’s interactive digital media sector,” said Elliott.

IO would like to thank outgoing Chair Peter Miller for his dedication over the past 4 ½ years. The Board and staff are grateful for his leadership.
