(December 4, 2025 – Toronto, Ontario) – At the IO Connect: VIP Reception 2025, the Honourable Minister Cho (Tourism, Culture and Gaming) reaffirmed his commitment to achieving a 12-week service standard at Ontario Creates for processing the Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC) later in 2026, a critical step in maintaining Ontario’s global competitiveness.
Leaders and stakeholders from Ontario’s interactive entertainment sector (video games, immersive/XR) celebrated and thanked Minister Cho, along with his teams at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, and Ontario Creates, for this decisive commitment.
