After an extensive executive search process, Interactive Ontario is pleased to announce that Acting President & CEO Lucie Lalumière will move into the role on a permanent basis, effective immediately.
“Lucie has been a dedicated and active member of the Interactive Ontario board of directors for the past 12 years,” said Jeffrey Elliott, Chair of Interactive Ontario. “Interactive Ontario will benefit immensely as she brings her expansive knowledge of the interactive media and emerging technology landscape to the organization on a full-time basis as our new President and CEO. On behalf of the IO board of directors, I’m very happy to welcome her to this new role.”
Lucie Lalumière is the Founder and Principal of Lalumiere Media, a Toronto-based consulting business specializing in digital media and emerging technologies. She has over two decades of experience in the digital media sector, with past roles that include GM French Market at MediaLinx Sympatico (Bell), Executive Director New Media at Radio-Canada, VP & GM Interactive at Corus Entertainment Television, and COO & GM of supersonic MINDS. Lucie serves on the board of the Haltech Regional Innovation Centre. She was the winner of the inaugural WIFT-T Digital Trailblazer Crystal Award in 2015.
