Cerebral Vortex Games Announces the Release of Word Burst

August 22, 2008

ST. CATHARINES, ON – Cerebral Vortex Games Inc., a St. Catharines, Ontario-based developer of casual videogames, is excited to announce the release of their web-based game Word Burst. The fast-paced word game is now playable exclusively through TELETOON.COM, completely free of charge.

In Word Burst, players are presented with a grid full of random letters while a timer ticks down. Players spell words by rapidly clicking on letters. Creating a word and making it “burst” will award you points and more time—the longer the word, the better! Gamers with the biggest vocabulary will find themselves at the top of TELETOON’s highscore table! Gamers can find the game at: www.teletoon.com

“With over 130,000 words, Word Burst has a bigger vocabulary than your English teacher,” said Keith Makse, President of Cerebral Vortex Games. “Everything from ‘Aardvark’ to ‘Zymurgy.’” Word Burst is currently available to play on TELETOON.COM in both French and English editions.
