IO member Stitch Media has launched new episodes of Moderation Town, the NSFW comedy web series. Following an award winning* run of 8 episodes in 2011, the series returns with its satirical exposition of internet culture.
An online culture of rudeness has transformed an unsuspecting group of charming small town Internet moderators into a crude, desensitized office of message board barbarians. But when a competing moderation business opens up in town, they must keep up an appearance of professionalism to compete. Can Alex Karpillo lead his scrappy start-up to keep it together and ward off a sleazy new competitor trying to destroy his business and poach his staff?
Starring comedians Nick Flanagan and Tim Gilbert as competing CEO's, Moderation Town's upcoming 7 episodes capitalizes on the duo's weird brand of absurd comedy and improv. The series also stars web veteran Dani Barker (Starvival) as Heather, Alex’s business partner and the voice of reason.
The latest episode of Moderation Town launched this week, with new episodes releasing the first Monday of every month. With a strong community of geeks, comedy nerds, and internet aficionados alike, Moderation Town will also release weekly videos featuring outtakes, additional footage, behind the scenes footage, as well as releasing monthly contests!
