About the role:

Reporting to the Account Director, the successful applicant will assist in the management of our Fortune 500 clients’ programs, contributing to both daily logistics and ongoing strategy.

Who we’re looking for:

Syncapse Corp. is seeking software developers capable of developing projects, managing priorities, and interacting with clients in a fun startup environment.
  • This is a full time position at a small, growing company
  • This is a technical position developing software for social networks like Facebook, Open Social, and Google Friend Connect

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of technical specifications and feature outlines
  • Develop modular PHP applications
  • Work with 3rd party web services APIs like Facebook, Open Social, Youtube, etc.
  • Test applications, write bug reports, and fix problems
  • work in a team environment
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of 1-3 years building dynamic websites in PHP & MySQL
  • Experience using HTML and JavaScript for web user interfaces

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building Web 2.0 websites and application (Data Driven, AJAX, Mashups)
  • Knowledge of social networking platforms (Facebook API, OpenSocial, Drupal, or Pluck)
  • Understanding of Model-View-Controller architecture
  • Experience using web development frameworks (e.g. CakePHP, Zend Framework)
