The Canada Media Fund has consulted the industry throughout Canada, on strategies to improve its Experimental Stream programs. Interactive Ontario’s members and its advocacy committee have been engaged in this process.
As a result, Interactive Ontario has advised on the following matters:
- Experimental Fund structure (on the proposal to create a Games Stream)
- Regional representation
- Marketing plans
- Data & evaluation of impact
- Reduction of aggregated CMF funding for the IDM sector in Canada
