iON is a project created in response to a need for greater IO engagement outside of Toronto. iON was designed to be a first step in bringing knowledge sharing, networking, and economic development opportunities to companies across the province.

Event Description:

YouTube creators often spend hours of their own personal time dedicated to playing, analyzing, and discussing the latest interactive products and games. How much of their content choices are audience driven vs. what the creators themselves choose to play?

Are there opportunities out there for game studios to collaborate with YouTube creators to help expand each other’s community? What are the reasons that those in the interactive space should consider YT as a potential marketing tool to help grow their business?

Join us in-person or watch live on our YouTube channel as we bring this conversation to the YouTube space in Toronto. We’ll ask our panel of creators:

  • Have they worked with interactive studios before? Why or why not?
  • What are the benefits to studios working with creators?
  • Why should studios pay attention to the YouTube world?

Moderated by Steve Saylor (Blind Gamer), with speakers:

Shane Luis (Rerez)
Patrick Maka (Maka91 Productions), Maka91Productions
