Interactive Ontario is currently seeking host companies to partner with us to deliver the third edition of the ipprenticeship Program, which provides week-long paid placements at leading IDM (interactive digital media) studios for Black youth and women who are looking to start their careers in the industry.
Host companies must be willing to commit to providing a tailored program of job shadowing, meetings and networking opportunities, as well as a financial contribution toward the participant honorarium and program costs not covered by our public funding (part of a three-year grant from the Industry-Led Career Initiative (ILCI), administered by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services through the Network of Services for Black Children, Youth and Families).
In exchange, companies will:
  • Have the chance to meet and work with fantastic up-and-coming talent (many past ipprentices are now working full time with their host companies)
  • Receive two invites to our celebratory networking dinner at the conclusion of the program
  • Be featured in a short video about the 2019 program
  • Contribute to a more diverse workforce and inclusive atmosphere in Ontario’s IDM ecosystem.
