On June 21, IO hosted its 2016 Annual General Meeting and Summer Cocktail. The meeting featured updates from the Executive Committee, our Advocacy Committee Chair Mary Sorrenti (Game Pill) and our Board Governance Committee Chair Jeffrey Elliot (Table Rock Media). We were very pleased to welcome two new directors to our Board – Lisa Coulman, Treasurer (PwC) and Heather Steele (Ubisoft Toronto).
IO Chair Peter Miller announced that he will be leaving his role at IO in order to take on new challenges. We thank Peter for his tireless work on behalf of Ontario’s IDM sector over the past four years.
Following the meeting, members were able to meet and catch up over food and drinks in the beautiful 8th floor space at Corus. A big thank you to Corus for the use of the space!
